*You know you’re a Hero when you feel like a human YoYo on a permanent rubber string.
*You know you’re a Hero when you drop your phone in the toilet, your keys in the garbage, and your most precious ring in the garbage disposal.
*You know you’re a Hero when, after throwing your own adult tantrum, you hug your children and tell them how much you love them.
*You know you’re a Hero when your fruit is in leather form and your veggies are in pasta form.
*You know you’re a Hero when, after you’ve upset your children out of your own frustration-frayed-wits, you hear one of them whisper, “You’re my hero.”
*You know you’re a Hero when you just sit down and cry because that’s all you’ve got left in you.
*You know you’re a Hero when nothing in your day goes as you expected and you’re still standing at the end of it (you may not know HOW you’re standing, but you are….even if you’re really sitting…).
*You know you’re a Hero when the only time you actually sit down is on the toilet (and somehow they STILL manage to find you...).
*You know you’re a Hero when you’re ready for a nap by 9:00 a.m.
*You know you’re a Hero when you collapse on the floor in exhaustion only to realize it’s not your floor.
*You know you're a Hero when....
Your turn, my Heroes….fill in the blank with as many as you can. Make them serious. Make them silly. Make them funny. Make them sarcastic as hell. Just make them.
Send them to me via email at [email protected] or in the comments below….
Looking forward to YOUR Hero sharing,
Lora Ackermann
